In a surprising partnership that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.
The adventure focuses on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana in addition to multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
